On 12 September 2025, the IRM acknowledged receipt of a complaint pertaining to GCF Project FP134 “Colombia REDD+ Results-based Payments for results period 2015-2016.” The complainant alleges they were improperly denied benefits previously allocated to them as part of a program to support sustainable forest management in the region of Caqueta, Colombia.

During the eligibility determination phase, the IRM sought to obtain additional information about the project activities linked to the concerns raised in the complaint. Eligibility determination was extended through January 2026 to allow sufficient time for the IRM to obtain necessary information to proceed with the eligibility determination. The IRM has concluded the complaint to be eligible and will proceed with engaging stakeholders to understand their preferred modality to addess the concerns raised in the complaint.
