New Video: Why is the IRM Important?

Even well‑intentioned climate projects can have unintended impacts on communities. The Independent Redress Mechanism (IRM) ensures people affected by GCF‑funded activities have a fair, transparent, and independent way to raise concerns and seek redress.

In the IRM’s latest video, stakeholders discuss how the IRM's independence and technical expertise supports the GCF in bringing projects back into compliance with GCF policies and remedies adverse impacts to affected communities through corrective measures.
